Ploukie's TNR Program
Monthly, we help Brown County TX and surrounding areas #sneuter their pet in a low cost transport run to Weatherford TCAP to be sterilized, vaccinated and we return home to Brownwood for pickup. We do not trap, or relocate cats.
Beginning in March, we will be adding canine vouchers!

Animal Intake is Closed!
We are a volunteer run organization dedicated to promoting education and providing resources to underprivileged communities. Thus, starting 5/1/2024, We are permanently closing intake while we wait to get some of the ones we have adopted. We are NOT taking in ANY animals.

These guys came to us last March when a retired breeder / hoarder surrendered 12 of them to us.
After a summer of rescues falling through, they celebrated their first Birthday with us October 2nd. Registration does not convey.

Year old Akita Mix, 48.8 pounds. All puppy that loves to chew and play. Car rides are a favorite past time. #Dirt has a beautiful double coat (like a husky) and loves being outside, especially in cooler weather.
Dirt knows "sit", "stay", "load up", "hug", "breakfast", "no" and "leave it".
Is fine with cats if they don't run. Best with other dogs his size.

Dottie came to us from a very hard situation. After watching several of her pug friends die of heat exhaustion in a back yard this summer, she was surrendered to us.
Dottie is spayed, current on vaccinations, dewormed, current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She knows how to use a doggie door and is very loving. Email us if you would like to meet her. Must be an indoor dog.

Beginning 12/1/2022 all applications will require a $20 donation. Donation will be deducted from pet adoption fee if applicant follows all guidelines and requirements for adoption. Fee is not negotiable and non-refundable. Make sure you can fulfill all requirements of adoption.
